Silas Malafaia

Silas Malafaia Lima (born September 14, 1958 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian pastor and writer, leader of the Pentecostal ministry Victory in Christ, linked to the Assembly of God. Malafaia is also a televangelist, a graduate in psychology, president of the publishing house Central Gospel, and vice president of the Interdenominational Council of Evangelical Ministers of Brazil (CIMEB), an entity that brings together nearly eight thousand pastors from almost all Brazilian denominations. Malafaia is conservative and known for being very critical of issues such as homosexuality and abortion.
