November 30th: The Promise of Advent | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional
Carpooling with JesusHey Carpool Crew, today isn’t just any day — it’s the start of Advent! 🎄 I’m Pastor Justin, and I’m so glad you’re here. Maybe your family has an Advent calendar or lights candles each week at church, but do you know what Advent really means? It comes from a Latin word that means “coming.” Advent is a season when we wait — not without hope, but with joy — because we know Jesus, the Light of the World, has come and will come again. Our verse today is Isaiah 9:2 (CSB): “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; a light has dawned on those living in the land of darkness.”Hundreds of years before Jesus was born, Isaiah shared this promise of hope. Even when life felt dark, God was already working to bring light — and that light is Jesus. So as we begin Advent, slow down, look for the light, and thank God that He always keeps His promises. The story of Christmas doesn’t start in the manger — it starts with a promise that light is coming.Family question: When have you felt like you were waiting for something to happen, and how can you trust God while you wait?🔗 Listen & Subscribe🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo🎧 Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifyPlus🎧 Subscribe on Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifySubscribe📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFBChristian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, Christian content for school mornings, daily Bible podcast for kids, morning devotions for families, Bible podcast for elementary kids, Jesus stories kids love, teaching kids about faith, helping kids follow Jesus, Christian parenting resources, raising Christian children, encouraging Christian kids, learning about Jesus for kids, Christian media for families.
