Papel Maché is a married couple of artists (Barcelona-Honduras) living in Spain. Although born from the imagination of Keila Elm (illustrator & singer-songwriter), the project is led by her husband, Edwin Puerto, and other friends, family, birds, and papers that join the band's journey. With nearly 20 years of experience, Papel Maché has explored diverse themes and stories, traveling through Spain, Latin America, and the United States. Their songs speak of home, love, the creator, coffee, mountains, birds, life, death, planets, stars, thermoses... metaphors and parables interwoven with emotive melodies and a musicality that inspires and illuminates any room, stage, café, or heart. The genre that characterizes their music is primarily folk, although they explore sounds and genres, soaring between pop, country, and Celtic and Irish music. Currently, his focus is on releasing an upcoming album (with singles like Oasis, Tortuga and La Casa) and also on releasing new songs for children with his project "Papel Maché Kids".
