When He talks about hungering and thirsting for righteousness, He means wanting to do the right thing, even when it is hard, even when no one is watching, and even when you mess up.Jesus sees your heart. He sees when you are trying. Telling the truth, helping others, and obeying when you do not feel like it still matters to God. Trying counts. Effort matters.
