Hundreds of years earlier, He said a child would come—and that child would show us that God didn’t stay far away. He came close.Jesus didn’t arrive as a king in a palace. He came as a baby—small, gentle, and reachable. That’s how God showed His love. Not distant. Not loud. Personal and near.Jesus understands hard days, fear, loneliness, and growing up—because He lived it too. When you feel scared or alone, He is with you. Just like when someone sits beside you when you’re upset—that comfort is what Emmanuel feels like.So today’s challenge is simple: be with someone else, just like Jesus is with you. Sit with someone who feels alone. Help without being asked. Say, “I’m here for you.”Remember, no matter where you are or how you’re listening, God loves you.Parents: Thank you for all the ways you make Christmas meaningful for your kids—the love, the time, the care.
