Whether you’re playing football, helping in the kitchen, or just hanging out with your family today, this episode is a reminder that true thankfulness isn’t about having more — it’s about loving what you already have.Our verse today comes from Psalm 107:1 — “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His faithful love endures forever.”That verse reminds us that God’s goodness never runs out. The people in the Bible who were closest to God weren’t the ones who had everything — they were the ones who gave thanks the most. Even King David, when life was hard, kept singing, “Thank you, Lord, for your love and goodness.”If Jesus were sitting next to you at the Thanksgiving table, I think He’d smile and say, “You don’t need everything to be perfect to be thankful. Look around — I’m here with you. Your family’s here. You are loved. That’s enough.”So here’s something to try today: whenever you catch yourself wishing for something someone else has — maybe a bigger piece of pie, a cooler bike, or a fancier house — stop and say, “I love what I have. It couldn’t be better.”Because when you focus on what you already have, joy starts to grow inside you.
